Montmorency tart cherry is the richest natural source of melatonin, a hormone produced by the pineal gland that helps improve sleep time, quality and efficiency. Melatonin works by regulating circadian rhythm:

BCAAs (branched-chain amino acids) – comprised of L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine and L-Valine – make up about one-third of the protein found in muscle.

When taken in supplement form, BCAAs are rapidly absorbed into muscle tissues, where they protect existing muscle and support new muscle growth. BCAAs are suggested to help by:

  1. Activating signaling enzymes that stimulate IGF-1 growth hormone and increase the rate of protein synthesis;
  2. Stimulating insulin, which enhances uptake of amino acids into muscle tissue cells;
  3. Maintaining workout energy by fueling cell ATP energy after muscle glycogen stores have been depleted;
  4. Extending muscle endurance during workouts by blocking the brain’s uptake of tryptophan, which converts into fatigue-inducing serotonin;
  5. Preserving muscle tissue while reducing soreness by supplying key amino acid precursors for muscle-building proteins;
  6. Maintaining blood glutamine levels after intense exercise, which in turn helps support healthy immune system function in athletes
